晨間運動

9/30星期一, 天氣雨, 氣溫約 26度
早上機車進行到萬大國小時熄火, 這時冥冥之中已有第一次提醒,
到重慶南路x汀洲路紅燈再次熄火, 這是第二次
到達晉江街終於吃不太到油了, 我仍以為是防傾倒短路所致,
終於,
到達羅斯福路之後, 終於確認是油箱空了,
由於下雨,
(1)我一點也不想將機車丟在路邊......穿雨衣坐捷運?
(2)taxi到最近加油站? 裝油容器也可能是問題
(3)最近加油站....興隆路!? 師大路加油站施工未營業, 忘了和平東也有一個

於是,
穿著安全帽+雨衣+雨褲+鞋套, 內外皆濕的形況下慢慢推至興隆路...
途中, 修車行沒有油可幫忙, 雨天, 也沒有騎士能伸出援手
路上行人也用著一種白癡的眼光注視,
我只是進行著一種不得已的晨間運動啊~~

KFC Gravy

My Aussie mom (HomeMa) used to show me the traditional way in making gravy. It looked a bit disgusting when you witnessing the process but it indeed tasted very good! :he~:

ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 can Campbell's chicken broth (plus 1 can of water)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon MSG or Accent Flavor Enhancer
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1. First make a roux by combining the oil with 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour in a medium saucepan over low heat. Heat the mixture for 20-30 minutes, stirring often, until it is a dark chocolate color.
2. Remove the roux from the heat, stir in the rest of the flour, and add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan; mix well.
3. Put the saucepan back over the heat, turn it up to medium and bring the gravy to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until thick.

Makes about 3 cups.
